The recommended number of lessons for a Wedding Dance.
In Ten lessons, you should feel absolutely comfortable on the dance floor, dancing together. Your First dance will be free of anxiety,
and that confidence will be apparent to everyone.
It allows you the time and space to learn a minimum of six of the dance's steps in
at least four or five different dances, being comfortable doing any step at any time,.
The lesson's focus will, of course, be on the dance steps and character of your specific wedding dance,
learning step sequences, even choreographing sections.
Please Note: In general, choreographing your entire wedding dance
is not advised as, if there's a mistake, it is difficult to recover.
My emphasis is on learning how to dance. You'll have all the basic steps and a thorough understanding
of different dances and types of music, particularly in how the character of the dance is a tool
for interpreting the music being played.
If you are in a time crunch but want to make the most of your lessons,
you may compress these ten (55) minute sessons into six lessons,
four lasting (2) hours with the last two as (1) hour lessons.
A Private Lesson guarantees optimal individual attention from the instructor.
However, you are NOT guaranteed a private room. A Studio is typically shared with other
Private Lessons taking place.
The music is also shared on an equal basis.
